:What? Well even though I don't know what you're referring to, YouTube is not a source and as for metal music websites, all what says "djent" is is some movement for prog metal and is not a genre. Maybe you should be the one doing the research. - GunMetal Angel 07:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC) |

I invite you to read the the information page on edit summaries—specifically the section on how to summarize. Please remember to be civil and don't bite the newcomers. Unnecessary criticisms and attacks toward other editors certainly doesn't harbor a pleasant working environment. According to the documentation: |
|||
|

So, edit summaries such as: |

Are incredibly inappropriate. And these examples are only from the last week. For someone who has been editing as long as you have, the type of behavior that is expected of you when contributing to Wikipedia should not be news. I am not vandalizing their page. Others who have been attacking the bands facebook page keep making changes to it, so I keep changing it back then.153.42.172.209 (talk) 14:39, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Symphonies.png
Thanks for uploading File:Symphonies.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:36, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
Emmure vandalism
I have semiprotected Emmure for a week. Let me know if the problem continues after that. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:29, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Metalcore lede
I'd rather you discuss this with me than edit war about it, please. All I did was remove one word from the lede, "extreme." I don't think that's worth getting mad about. Navnløs (talk) 10:23, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
In any case, I'm done for the night. However, I encourage you to respond if you still have an issue with my edit and we can discuss it further. During that time I also wish to encourage you to not break Wikipedia's three-revert rule, which can lead to endless edit warring (from which no one benefits), and to leave the page as it is until we discuss this fully and come to some sort of consensus. Maybe we can start a discussion on the metalcore talk page and see what others have to say as well if you are still against my edit. All the best, Navnløs (talk) 10:37, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Edit fights
Gunmetal you have a real big problem with WP:NPOV and you know it. There have been a lot of edit fights with you about this. Multisourced genres or sometimes even other terms for the same genres, and yet your persistance for keepin' everything your way. I Often leave it after a while cause it doesn't really matter. Just stop warnings and try thinking more open to others' views.Solinothe Wolf 14:46, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- I don't even know what you're talking about. If you're referring to the section directly up from this one, dude all I can really say about that is it's a revert of original research, not provoking an "edit fight" and also might I add that you tend to genre war a lot when I've negotiated with you several times about it. We can be pals but it's just hard to maneuver when you continuously change or add genres to pages which are actually not sourced at all. -- GunMetal Angel 17:59, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Its plastered all over youtube and metal music websites, research yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nevereverdreamforever (talk • contribs) 04:45, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
