Only warning
Do not write Wikipedia articles about people with whom you are in dispute elsewhere, and do not use your superior skills as an editor to get one up in a dispute. What you did at Dan Trotta was outrageous, and to continue doing it despite the request of the subject is appalling. If you ever do anything like that again I will indefinitely block you. Quite frankly, the only reason I didn't block you straight away is that I won't be able to be around for the fallout and it's poor practice to "block and run". . Drmies (talk) 15:07, 3 March 2021 (UTC)- You need to explain that article that HJ Mitchell deleted, Dan Trotta, which you seem to have created following a personal off-wiki dispute with the person. You cannot just move on as if nothing happened. I've placed a note at WP:AN for other administrators to weigh in on the matter. You may respond here, and your comments will be copied over. The article Nibras guest house has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
One of the old GeoSwan articles. No evidence that this was a notable guesthouse and no ATD merger target.

Please do not email me
You have channels available to you to challenge decisions you do not agree with. Please use them and do not email me further. I do not wish to engage with you. Star Mississippi 21:21, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- I did send User:Star Mississippi an email. In it I questioned whether the {{prod}}s, above, of Azem guesthouse and Nibras guest house, should imply my 2007 authorship of the articles should be a factor, when considering them for deletion.
- That email was an instance of me assuming good faith, assuming Star Mississippi made a mistake when they implied material should be deleted, at least in part, because I contributed it. I sent that by email to prevent embarrassing them, if they had made a mistake.
- I drew their attention to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fanis Shaikhutdinov, an AFD they started on another article I started in 2007. In that AFD I said I had applied G7, saying the article, "measured up to the inclusion standards of 2007, when I last looked at it, but doesn't measure up to today's standard."
- My G7 meant (1) the article got deleted in just 2 or 3 hours, not 7 days; (2) for the 6 days and 21 hours the article was not unnecessarily sitting at AFD, no third parties had their time wasted reading a discussion over an article no one wanted to defend.
- I also wrote:
- WRT to my old contributions, I was an active and prolific contributor to the wikipedia, from 2004 to 2021 - so about 3 years earlier than you. During our time on the wikipedia there has been an evolution [to more stringent standards]. The first contributions I made were at a time when there was no support for references, as we know them now. All articles from that time relied on external links and inline urls. I make no apology for making contributions in the 2006-2008, 2009 timeframe, that measured up to the inclusion standards of the time, that would not have measured up to the standards of 2021. I don't think I need to apologize for those contributions, just as I would not expect you to apologize for material you added in 2007, that does not measure up to today's standards.
- I have had challengers who level extremely unfair criticism like "Geo Swan is a serial creator of BLP problems," pointing to contributions I made when the wikipedia had considerably looser standards. I was not a serial violator of policy. No one who contributed material that measured up to the standards current, at the time it was contributed, should be branded a policy violator, if that material no longer measures up to the standards current today.
