Please do not move pages without consensus. Various titles for the page have been discussed at length, and football (soccer) is the consensus title. See the discussions at Talk:Football (soccer) and its archives. Oldelpaso 16:16, 15 September 2007 (UTC) |

In my opinion and of hearing the case, I believe that the POV tag should be added to the article until all parties can reach an agreement. If you do not agree with this decision you may request another medcab case or get a third opinion. If you find it necessary, you could request a real mediation case. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Nazi occupation of the Baltics, by DLX (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Nazi occupation of the Baltics fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Nazi occupation of the Baltics, please affix the template hangon to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Nazi occupation of the Baltics itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 07:24, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Occupation of Baltic states. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Edit war warning
You have been engaged in an edit war in violation of the three-revert rule. As you did stop reverting after being warned, I am choosing this time to warn you that such conduct will result in a block from editing. Please be careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than reverting repeatedly. Seraphimblade Talk to me 10:31, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for creating Occupation of Baltic republics by Nazi Germany. It may not have been a good idea to list your own article for WP:AfD. What you should have done, is contested the speedy delete with a hangon template, and asked some other user to look at the situation. It is evident, that the article did not meet the WP:SPEEDY criteria.
You could also consider withdrawing your AfD proposal. This is in fact what I suggest you do. -- Petri Krohn 21:31, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Re: Moscow
A-Class articles should have all at least attained Good article status. Moscow has not attained that status yet. Dr. Cash 05:46, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Lodztelephone.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Lodztelephone.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Leo the Wise and the end of Consular Dating
Since neither you nor Joe Kress look like you are going to pursue this interesting issue, I am researching it a little and drafting up something for WP. However, I am unable to substantiate your comment on Leo the Wise. Unfortunately, I do not read Russian. I would be grateful if you could give me an English translation of the passage in the book you refer to that discusses this point, as well as the English title and the author of the book, and, most particularly, the primary source of the information.
Thanks, --Chris Bennett 20:44, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Digging a little deeper, I am assuming this is based onn Leo VI's Basilica, althouhg I haven't found an explicit statement to that effect. I have added some text based on your input and that of Joe Kress about this topic. Take a look and adjust as you see fit --Chris Bennett 22:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
