License tagging for Image:Jasontaylor.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Jasontaylor.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Stolen Images
Please Stop Uploading images without their publishers consent. The use of NFL images on Wikipedia is prohibited due to binding NFL copyrights. The use of such images is practically stealing, an offense which isn't just payable on simple disciplinary tactics, but also legal issues. If you wish to add images of NFL players, consider using Flickr images with a Creative Commons licence. --00:06, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Why you hating on P.K. Sam?
Why do keep deleting Sam? He was signed to a 2007 contract off the practice squad just like Jason Rader, but you haven't deleted Rader. Please go to Profootball Weekly to verify [1]

Okay, that explains why the Dolphins released him for Jason Willis eventhough they needed someone as insurance for Welker as kick returner. He did re-sign about a week later and then signed for next season. Thank you for the insight! 10:06, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Images on Flickr may be the subject to copy right. Wikipedians are only allowed to use images with a Creative Commons Share-alike tag. Images with an "all rights reserved" tag are off limits on Wikipedia, unless one asks the author for permission to use the image on Wikipedia. The Harrington image was uploaded onto Wikipedia without any a proper source or license tag. Unless the author released the image on a Wiki-friendly tag, the image should not be used on Wikipedia. -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 04:04, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi,
I've changed the category on Jermaine Hardy his page from Category:NFL Europe players to his corresponding team page Category:Rhein Fire players and added the related info into his team box. The Category:NFL Europe players category holds the team categories and no players. The NFl Europe teams have pages similar to the NFL.

It needs a citation because it is an opinion; who is saying that the coaching staff is in flux? It is an opinion, so it either needs a citation or should be removed.--Thomas.macmillan 18:29, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- It is an opinion. A fact is "Several coaches have left the organization since the end of 2006, including the head coach". An opinion is "The coaching staff and roster have already undergone significant changes, making the near future cloudy and uncertain". First off, significant is subjective. Instead of saying significant, quantify it, I.E. "25 new players have were signed during the off-season". Metaphors, like cloudy, generally are less than helpful as well. Be more precise with your language and cite a source or remove it.
NFL team logos on players pages.
What's up. I really don't know if NFL logos on players pages are acceptable. I was just fooling around, but they do really look cool. I was just hoping that others would catch and perhaps change it for all active NFL players. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Guru Greek (talk • contribs) 00:57, 23 April 2007 (UTC).
Seeking community input re standardizing baseball roster pages
Hi ... I'm leaving you this note because you recently made edits to one of the Major League Baseball roster pages. I've made a proposal for standardizing the format, structure and content of these pages here and would appreciate your input so that we may reach a consensus. Thanks. --Sanfranman59 06:08, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

My bad ... I should have done some research before making this change. I was lazy and simply looked at his place of birth without reading his mlb.com bio. Thanks for correcting me. --Sanfranman59 16:53, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Dolphins return men
Wasn't Marty Booker & Marcus Vick the 2nd & 3rd kickreturners behind Wes Welker? I thought the reason why Shirdonya Mitchell & P.K. Sam were on the roster was their KR & PR duties, so why aren't they on the special team depth chart? Raul17 23:45, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
RE:UR FA
Are you referring to Ian Scott? I don't even know what an unrestricted free agent is, so I just added him on the team's depth chart as a free agent, after reading the ChicagoBears.com's latest article.[4] -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 02:39, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I don't even know who unrestricted free agency deals with general football information, given its practically jargon to the casual reader - a statement which often reiterated on NFL related peer-review pages. I do not see what's the point of making a bfd about something so small. In case you may have missed it, the header on Wikipedia's English page says, "Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit". Interests are interests, I do not see why someone should not be allowed to contribute to NFL-related articles because they're not a football expert. -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 03:07, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I have enough common sense to avoid editing topics about Free Agency. I only edit biographies, since I could verify my claims with references. ;-) Oh yes, thanks for updating the Chicago Bears roster template. It was gracious of you. :-p-- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 03:24, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

Miami Dolphins Depth Chart
I will agree that it is early to make up a depth chart for the returnmen, but by the same token, the linebackers are in the same state of uncertainty. Outside of Porter, Thomas and Crowder, it is wide open like the Dolphins kickreturners. Pope has played all three LB positions, the rest except McCune & Spragan are relatively unknown in terms of playing positions. Gbaja-Biamila might back-up Taylor at the Open End position.
I rather have Rosenthal at LT than Alabi because his experience as a starter. Shelton might play at the position because he has played. At RB, I would have had Chatman ahead of Cobbs because of experience. R.Wright would have been ahead of Vickerson because the latter wasn't tendered as ERFA.
I put J.Allen at corner because one of my sources believes that he will take more reps there than at safety because there is a feeling that his best position. And until training camp opens.... Raul17 21:49, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- You mean Zach isn't starting nor Crowder?! My source happens to work for the Marlins and was hanging out at the mini camp. By the way, I like being amateure. Thank you very much. And you agree with me, this depth chart is not official is just there. Until training starts, everything is just speculation. And why are you still hating on P.K.??? Raul17 23:17, 26 April 2007 (UTC) ( ^ v ^ )
- ( ^ v ^ ) suppose to mean being jovial or happy. The Sam comment was an attempt to bring you back down the earth. When Sam was re-signed to the practice squad and then signed a contract, you delected him because you was not aware. ( O v - ) Last season, at KR were Welker & Booker then Minor & Vick(?). At PR, after Welker, I can't recall who the backups were other than Vick. I don't think am trying to be "cool" or "in" be using common sense that it stands to reason that those players that were returning last year are likely to this season. Hence, Booker & Vick at KR. On the roster, I think there's only one guy who actually had PR duties in the NFL: Hakim. I thought it was publicly known that Mitchell was signed because of his return skills in college and that was why he was kept eventhough he blew out his knee. And Sam was signed to the PS as insurance to Welker. ( 0 - 0 ) Raul17 11:26, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
I am pleased with your progress! ( ^ v ^ )
Re: Roster Templates and ERFAs
Sounds great. With the draft and everything after it, I won't have too much time to work on the templates. My main priority right now is on the 2005 Pats season page as well as upgrading the Pats' player (and new draftees) pages. Pats1 00:12, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

No offense, because this is supposed to be a community-oriented thing, but there's reason for you to be reverting edits just because you don't agree with them. Rosters
Once again I have no idea why you keep changing rosters around when, A) there hasn't been any consensus as to how to list the players and, B) you're listing the players the way YOU want them to be listed, which isn't fair to ANYONE else and, C) you deleted all my notations on the Browns' roster (i.e. OT/G, etc.) for no reason at all. You're not following one of the major guidelines of Wikipedia, which is to assume good faith. This is becoming very annoying if you ask me, and clearly a lot of other people are agreeing with me. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 17:57, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- That really wasn't my point, because Wikipedia encourages organization. But you're reverting other people's edits for absolutely no reason at all other than their edits aren't what you want them to be, which is against Wikipedia policy. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 18:01, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- So you mean to tell me that you removed all my notations (which took me about a half hour to figure out in the first place) because they weren't on the other rosters? Isn't that pretentious? Whatever. You do what you want, since apparently you're the boss of how all the NFL articles should be. Have fun with it. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 18:08, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- It doesn't have anything to do with consensus right now. Since all the rosters are the same (as in the way you think they should be) I decided to just go with it and note where players played at next to their names (which would be what we do if your way passes) and yet you still removed all the notations, and I had no idea why you did that. Eagles Roster Template...
"I had already added Paschal, he is a a free safety. Please look a little harder before making edits like that"
- We were making the edits at the same time for the undrafted free agents. Please look a little harder before making comments like that.
Paschal is a SS according to multiple sources: http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile_display.cfm?Prospect_ID=522 http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=71&p=8&c=1&nid=2686114
This also speaks to the discussion that was going on, on the NFL project page. This new template that you enacted (with no real consensus) is a little to specific for some players. Some guys are just listed as "S" by their team. For instance, the Eagles (which should be the official source on their own player's positions, list Erik Harris, Quniton Mikell, etc as just "S"... Half the articles I look at on Pascal list him as a SS, half of them list him as a FS. Eagles list him as a S. What makes you the "ultimate" authority to decide? This is just pointing out the problem with the new proposed template. Bjewiki 20:33, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Jim Johnson (Eagles DC) came out in the paper, and said Takeo Spikes (off-season addition) is the eagles Weak-side lineback, trotter is starting in the middle, and Chris Gocong is the starting Strong-side LB. JJ siad Gaither will play the "nickle" LB position, basically taking over for Trotter on passing downs. The eagles official website depth chart has been updated with this Spikes-Trotter-Gocong arrangement. Bjewiki 20:41, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Re: Infobox Colors
Yeah, I took those from the Brady and Manning pages, as they seemed to be the standard. They do work better with players with multiple positions, though. Pats1 01:29, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Undrafted rookies
Where are you getting your information for the undrafted rookies that you're adding to rosters? I can't find anything anywhere; there's no information on NFL.com or official websites (at least not for the Browns). Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 05:12, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh. I'm not looking to verify them, because I'm sure they're true. But I needed a source for the 2007 Browns page. Thanks! Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 05:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Re: Peek and Wimbley positions
I only listed them there because those were their positions prior to joining the Browns. Wimbley often lines up as a defensive end, and played DE in college. Peek played DE with the Texans (or Titans, I don't remember where we got him from), so I don't know where the Browns are going to play him. Their GM said outside linebacker, but it's debatable right now. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 01:29, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
T vs. OT
It's inaccurate to list an offensive lineman as just a Tackle because that could mean defensive or offensive, which is why I noted offensive tackles with OT. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 01:32, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Well they are listed under the "Offensive linemen" category so it's not really inaccurate.Chris Nelson 01:38, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

I have put those tags on many, many pages. Simply put, EVERY page should have at least one source, depending on the information. Perhaps you should read Wikipedia:Sources? I was just pointing out he wasn't a rookie since it appeared that way when displaying the roster, not realizing your intent. I don't mean to single you out or anything. Please Use Edit Summaries
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Jmlk17 08:37, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Word man...Go GA Tech ;). Naw, I'm just kidding, my buddy goes to Georgia actually. Have a good one! Jmlk17 08:41, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Chris, please start using summaries for your edits. It literally can be something as simple as +cat when you are adding a category, for example, or some other short notation. If you're using form-help in your browser, your most common summaries will be available as a dropdown whenever you start typing in the summary field. It is the considerate thing to do for other editors who have articles watchlisted and would otherwise feel the need to look at your edits in more detail. Thanks. Re: Roster links
Sounds good. We've already learned linking the text at the top causes color problems, so you may have to do it in the bottom right. Pats1 22:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Linking the rosters will be easy. Give me some extra time this week and I can do it. :) Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 23:44, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
It's no big deal to me but ...
Teams frequently announce a roster move one day and then don't make the corresponding move until the next day. They just can't have more than 25 men on their active roster during a game. Moves can be made at any point between the last pitch of one game and the first pitch of the next. It seemed to me that since it was out on the news wires at MLB.com, Sportsline.com and Yahoo, it was reasonable to make the change in the roster here. --Sanfranman59 06:22, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Re: Roster template colors
The colors may not necessarily hurt our eyes, but according to WP:COLOR, they have to be contrasting colors, so that people who are color blind can distinguish the colors.
Aside from that, I'm adding the link to the rosters list. I couldn't figure out how to do it any other way. Haha. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 03:27, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- I actually meant to point you to WP:WAI, which explains why. Some of them were hard on MY eyes and I'm not color blind at all. But if you revert them, make sure you just change the colors back to what they were so you don't have to add in the link to rosters all over again. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 03:33, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- I understand. Until someone complains, we'll leave them as is. It might just be because I've been up for almost 30 hours now studying for exams. But some of them were just bad, like the Seahawks' roster colors. Two shades of blue on top of each other just looks... ugh. Haha. Wlmaltby3 – talk/contribs 03:38, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
RE: Seahawk player #'s
The absolute best source for Seahawk info is Mike Sando's blog from the Tacoma News Tribune... I used to always rely on Seattle Times and KFFL for the most up to date news, but this guy's blog is like 24/7 Seahawks... (http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/) under his resources link he has a "33 category roster" set up in MS Excel. It is updated every time the seahawks not only sign a player but even just try out a player. as i'm sure you know, seahawks.com is a joke. Go Hawks! -Bockhorst

Browns roster
I figured that I'd let you know that I reversed the colors on the {{Cleveland Browns roster}} so that it was a little bit easier to read. Also, whenever someone mentions the Browns' team colors, they usually say "orange" first, so I figured I'd make orange the main color for the Browns' templates. Thanks for uploading Image:ChrisWoodward.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. RE: v-d-e thing
I think you have to use a different code format for that to work. I'm not sure. Try using Template:PatriotsQuarterback as a coding template for the Dolphins', because they're certainly different. Pats1 21:01, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Eagles Roster...
I appreciate that you think you are the controller of all of the NFL rosters, but, you're not. The eagles have one of the best websites in the NFL (in fact, I believe they won an award for it). They post news/information/stories daily. I understand that many football teams let their sites get stale, but the Eagles are not one of them. You appear to be a Dolphins fan, that's great. I'm an eagles fan, and I'm sure I follow the Eagles more closely than you. You are removing information that can be easily verified on an official team site. That could easily be construed as vandalism. Bjewiki 02:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- One reason he's not on the top 6 in the (DE) depth chart is that there are like 8 DEs on the roster right now, obviously not all of them will be there come training camp. In any case, the eagles officially list him as a LB/DE (as does his wiki page). And that is easily verifiable. Bjewiki 02:25, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- And how do you know Gocong doesn't/won't play any end? Last year in training camp, before he went on the IR, he was working as a DE and an OLB. True, Johnson has named him first string SAM for now, but that doesn't mean he can't get beaten out by Spikes, Stewart, Daniels, etc for the job come training camp. Bjewiki 02:31, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Verifiability
The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth. "Verifiable" in this context means that any reader should be able to check that material added to Wikipedia has already been published by a reliable source. Editors should provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is challenged or is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed.
Wikipedia:Verifiability is one of Wikipedia's core content policies. The others include Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Jointly, these policies determine the type and quality of material that is acceptable in Wikipedia articles. They should not be interpreted in isolation from one another, and editors should try to familiarize themselves with all three.
Bjewiki 02:49, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Last Chance...
Last chance. If you do not stop removing verifiable content from the eagles roster, tommorrow I will lodge an official complaint with the Wiki-NFL project. You are not the "GOD" of all NFL rosters like you try to be. This is a community project, as as my edit comes from an easily verifiable, and official source (the teams official website) it should be allowed to stand. I am giving you this message as fair warning. Bjewiki 02:55, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Gocong
Since you two are carrying this out on each others talk pages, I will leave you with this Eagles depth chart. It does not list Gocong anywhere as a DE. However, the attitude that X is happening is real life and is therefore accurate is a tough one to win. Verification is important, as is not breaking the three revert rule. I would suggest both of you working out a compromise. Otherwise both of you will wind up at the 3RR notice board.

DolphinsFirstPick template
I renamed both the Dolphins' first pick template and season templates for they're standardized with the Browns' and Pats'. I already changed the template link in the season pages affected, but if you could change it in the first picks' that would be great. It's really not anything urgent - just more of a technical issue. Why don't you just leave the team that I have worked so hard on to fix up and work on, how would you feel if I went to the Dolphins players and started changing everything on there. Thats what I thought, and if you noticed how I haven't changed anything on any other player since this whole thing unfolded. So leave my team alone and you'll hear the end of me. Got it. MetsFan153 22:36, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- It's like I'm talking to a wall, if you are so into this why don't you go and edit all 500 MLB players with that their current team, on every MLB team, until then it seems like you have it in for me, so leave as is unless you want to do this for every single player on every single team. MetsFan153 22:44, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- It isn't a misrepresentation, the guy played for the an organization in 2003, if he is still there in 2007, he had former teams in 2003,2004,2005,2006. So tell me how thats a misrepresentation, and the more and more I hear out of you it seems like you have a bone to pick with over nothing, so go and change every other MLB player then if you are that interested in doing this, especially over 2 players who have had this (2003-Present) on their page for over a year now. And now all of the sudden you are the only one who cares about this. MetsFan153 22:54, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Baseball player infoboxes
Hi Chris ... Would you please hold off on changing the lists of teams in baseball player infoboxes until we come to a decision at WP:WPBBP? We seem to be leaning toward changing the heading from "Former teams" to "Teams" so that we can include current teams in the list. If so, you're just creating more work for us. Thanks. --Sanfranman59 23:22, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Madden weapons feature
It was removed for the same reason that we removed weapons and certain feature sections from Resident Evil 4, Halo: Combat Evolved, Gears of War ect, as it makes the the article sound more like an Walk through guide, as opposed to an encyclopedia.. The sections are not needed, and can be accessed on sites like GameFaqs. You can however present the items in some sort of paragraph, as long as it has some substance to it. -- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 19:24, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
External link question
It looks to me that you are quite correct. We certainly don't need a ton of links to "unofficial roster lists", especially since that's not even sourcing anything in the article (and if it were, I imagine a more reliable source could be found). External links aren't for things that are just tangentially related to the article. Seraphimblade Talk to me 23:19, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
- Since it seems to be just the two of you involved in the debate, you certainly could go request a third opinion. While I personally agree that the link is not appropriate, I don't see any evidence that it's part of a deliberate effort to spam, so it doesn't rise to anything where blocks or protection would be called for as yet. Still, seeing single-purpose accounts which seem to have the sole intent of inserting and reinserting a link certainly does tend to raise my suspicions. You might also contact the IP editor on his/her talk and ask them to come to the article talk and discuss the matter. A lot of new editors are unaware that a facility such as talk pages exists, but once you've notified someone of that, it's certainly not acceptable to keep on reverting without discussing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 18:05, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Michael Hill, the assistant GM of the Florida Marlins, said about an hour ago that tomorrow the decision about who would be the closer, Henry Owens (who was the lead candidate before his injury, Kevin Gregg (who was closing out games after Owens was injured), or Armando Benitez (who was the closer for the SF Giants), would probably be made tomorrow. Since the decision about who was the closer was never actually made(Owens and Gregg were put there because they were getting the opportunities), it is best to just leave it blank until then.
This was all made clear by FSN Florida In-Game Reporter Craig Minervini in the Post Game show today.

He's a warm body for training camp. NFL players are not notable until they play in a regular season game, and even then sometimes not. If we have separate Wikipedia pages for every player in training camp, then I would hope you also go back and make pages for every single person who's played in an NFL game. They are far more significant than a camp body.

Re: Jerseys
You need to just put something in the fair use rationale box, Chris. That thing above is just a bot that puts any images up for deletion that don't have anything in that box. Just copy whatever I have from the Pats uniforms. Pats1 10:56, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Jersey Number in Infobox...
I actually used to like the way you had it, with "<name> - <#>". But, I read over the discussion over the talk page. I think I agree with whoever said that it clutters up the title of the infobox. And is the number even that important? To be honest, I think you could actually make a stronger case that the title should be "<name> - <position>". Bjewiki 01:03, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree numbers should be part of the article. But inside the infobox just makes more sense to me. Bjewiki 01:06, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Same here. It's fine to be inside the infobox. But it is very distracting where it is right now. I think it should only be the name in the top box. Please, reconsider and put the number inside the box. Soxrock 17:7, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Number on infobox team bar...
Was just testing it as you messaged me. Check out Brett Favre's page. Bjewiki 15:23, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
Short edits
I prefer it for one reason:
Less stress on me personally. I don't have to really worry about a large edit that has potential for being caught in an edit conflict. Plus, I click the "edit" button on top of the section, meaning I don't even get the full page, just the section. Soxrock 23:09 June 18 2007 (UTC)
- So, Soxrock, you're saying that you'd rather try to avoid getting in an edit conflict yourself, even though it means forcing other people to get involved in edit conflicts? In my opinion, you're just selfish and self-centered. --Ksy92003 (talk) 00:26, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Retired Players
Why are retired players (Bartrum in Philly and Freeman in GB) being kept on the roster template? I'm not sure of the reasoning behind that? Let me know. Bjewiki 18:10, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree that the reserve/retired list is what happens to players when they announce retirement. I'm just questioning the need for it on the roster template. It seems like it's getting cluttered with some uncessary inforamtion. For example, Tiki Barber is listed on the Giants roster template, but he's not listed on the Giants roster from either the NFL [5] or Giants' [6] sites. The question then is, since you apparently can't see the r-r list anywhere "official" (that I know of, maybe you know of one), how do you verify who is/is not still on it? This would likely violate WP:VERIFY. My guess would be that when the 53-man roster is finalized before the season starts, the r-r list is cleaned out. But I can't actually find that information anywhere. If that's the case, then i'm questioning if it is really necessary to clutter the template w/ retired players for 2 months? Bjewiki 19:39, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- As I said above, I understand that's what happens when a player initially retires. But, how long does a player stay on the r-r list? Bjewiki 09:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Metsbot
Why did this mark a lot of my photos as "passing requirements for deletion"? Does this mean they will be deleted or they will not be?Chris Nelson 18:02, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Don't worry about the images. :-) They're being deleted on the English Wikipedia because they're now available on Wikimedia Commons. You will not notice any difference, and do not have to do anything. —METS501 (talk) 18:18, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Re: Raiders nickname
He may have gone golfing with Belichick today, but I don't know if a Bermanism would qualify as a verifiable nickname. :D Pats1 22:56, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
- Nothing in the infobox template indicates criteria for adding nicknames. Chris Berman is not the only one who uses the nickname - a simple Google search will verify this. But even if he was, he's a nationally known broadcaster on the most well-known sports network in America. It's not as if he's some obscure blogger. So basically, unless you can provide some objective criteria for what can or cannot be included in the nickname field, it stays. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 13:23, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Re: Userboxes
If you go to your contribs, change it over to 500 per page and then just go back and count. Pretty easy -- don't think there's any automatic way to do it though. Pats1 18:57, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
Mike Maroth has been traded.

- Teams generally don't plan to announce non-trades. Since you like to hurl insults, learn to quit being so anal. RobDe68 19:55, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
NFLE Allocations?
Do you want to move the NFLE guys back into the main rosters after the World Bowl today, since they'll back with their respective teams starting with training camp? Since with the new CBA their exemptions expire on the first cutdown (75) anyway, and since we don't keep any roster numbers/limits on this template (which gets me thinking...), I think it would be OK just to re-insert them, without any notation. Pats1 13:35, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Johnson not on DL
Do you need me to google anything else for you while I'm at it? As far as Maroth, I don't know what the hell to do with him. He was aquired but hasn't been placed on 25 man roster yet, at least until they finally place Johnson on DL. RobDe68 01:11, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- You didn't check, that's the definition of a blind edit. I'm sorry you're all uptight about the term but it's "technically accurate". RobDe68 01:45, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making personal attacks on other users, such as you did to Yankees10 at User talk:Yankees10 on April 27-29, 2007. Such language could possibly result in punishment and possible removal of your editing privileges if it becomes problematic. Please remember to be civil when posting comments on discussion pages.
