Autopatrolled granted
Hi Bhaskarbhagawati, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 04:15, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Happy New Year, Bhaskarbhagawati!
Send New Year cheer by adding {{subst:Happy New Year fireworks}} to user talk pages.
I request you to stop vandalizing the page, as you did here: [1]. If you have issues with the names of the scripts and alphabets, discuss in the respective pages: Bengali-Assamese script, Bengali alphabet and Assamese alphabet. Chaipau (talk) 03:13, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- Issue is throughly discussed involving other editor, i agree with him there.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 05:32, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- The name of the script has indeed been thoroughly discussed here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Bengali%E2%80%93Assamese_script/Archive_1#Requested_move_13_February_2019 and it was decided to name it "Bengali-Assamese script". You are trying to use a construct like [[Bengali-Assamese script|Bengali script]] to rename the name "Bengali script" in the Bengali-Assamese languages page and to delete the mention of alphabets. Stop doing that. Chaipau (talk) 08:35, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
- That title discussion has nothing to do with current dispute, Assamese scholars agreed that it is the same script.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 02:11, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- Who is saying it is not? And the name of the script on Wikipedia is "Bengali-Assamese", though it is a misnomer — for long, it was called "Eastern Nagari". But the alphabets are different. So your edits, without understanding the nuances here, are very disruptive. Chaipau (talk) 10:06, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- We are not changing the name of script, but some text in article must accomodate views of other linguists who claimed Assamese adopted Bengali script in nineteenth century as part of standardiation by dropping native Kamarupi script variety (both the modern script are exactly same except two letters). Both side must be equally presented.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 08:45, 26 January 2020 (UTC)

User:Msasag reporting for Edit-warring
Bhaskarbhagawati I have added a comment here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Edit_warring#User:Msasag_reported_by_User:Bhaskarbhagawati_(Result:_). FYI, @Msasag:. Chaipau (talk) 12:00, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

Assamese language
Please stop your disruptive edits, inserting "Kamrupi" everywhere, including Assamese language and Early Assamese. The Wikipedia community has worked on these issues from April 2019 to October 2019, and you have your answer. You have been disrupting since 2012. Please stop it. Chaipau (talk) 13:35, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- It is considered as dialect of Assamese, thus naturally it has there in appropriate section, i don't understand why you persistently delete relevant reliable sources to prove a point.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 12:12, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
You have once again made the same edits [2], even though the issues were extensively discussed here Talk:Assamese_people#Nationalism. Please pay heed to the discussions, and do not do your disruptive editing. Chaipau (talk) 17:42, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
- That is a reliable source, first get consensus to exclude them.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 12:17, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, that is a reliable source - both Guha and Baruah. Why are you deleting them? Chaipau (talk) 12:38, 25 January 2020 (UTC)
- It is part of larger problem. You are constantly removing sources there and from other articles for more than decade now which don't conforms to your notions or liking. In past, one editor claimed you as paid editor. Please try to remain neutral, or we are wasting our time here, i believe you have lot of spare time.भास्कर् Bhagawati Speak 12:57, 25 January 2020 (UTC)

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction
The following sanction now applies to you:
You are banned from the topic of the languages of Assam, both in articles and on talk pages. This includes the pages at Kamrupi dialect, Kamarupi Prakrit, Early Assamese and related articles and talk pages.
You have been sanctioned for the reasons provided in response to your edit warring complaint about Kamrupi culture
This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/India-Pakistan#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.
You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. EdJohnston (talk) 04:11, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
