Merge tags
You have recently placed merged tags on NACIL destinations and Air India destinations. After placing the same, you being the nom, should explain in the talk page of either articles the reason you believe the two articles have to be merged. BTW, I have opened the merge discussion here. Please post your feedback at the same. Thanks, Why so serious? Talk to me 09:07, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- Ok I saw that. But I feel it's better if we take the discussion to the projects page so that we can get more opinions. Because I really don't know how many editors will come across the same in the respective article. Atleast there are lot of editors active on the projects page. What do you say? Why so serious? Talk to me 09:21, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- Would you want me to place the discussion or you would place it? Why so serious? Talk to me 09:31, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- I have notified editors active on the projects page here. I have requested editors to comment on the issue on Talk:Air India destinations itself. Why so serious? Talk to me 11:22, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Pantnagar Airport
I would have considered it WP:CIVIL had you manually edited and included Jagson in the destination table. Instead you make it look messy the way it was again? Besides, the airline website is under upgradation and has no info at all and the previously mentioned source dates back to 2009, the airline would have terminated the route some time in 2010. I would appreciate if you find some source for the same. Why so serious? Talk to me 18:11, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

I saw your recent contributions at DYK and I clicked on over to your user page and was pretty impressed. Would you be interested in helping with the WP:Online_Ambassadors program? It's really a great opportunity to help university students become Wikipedia contributers. I hope you apply to become an ambassador, Sadads (talk) 03:00, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

Excommunication and Fire
It is all about WP:NPOV, I completely agree. However, every fact or statement on Wikipedia needs to be directly supported by preferablly a 3rd party source. By verification, I meant that I wanted a citation directly citing that BAPS was excommunicated. BAPS (or BSS) was created due to a dispute over the Akshar Purushottam Upasana. Certain people wanted the group excommunicated, but I wanted verification that it happened on an official basis. Also, the newspaper is a valid source but the source used by the newspaper is not valid. The information was leaked and solely depends on temple manager's perspective. Also, in context to the monument's history, the event is now irrelevant. The article is an overview of the monument and briefly touches on the history behind the construction and its opening. Further verification from alternate sources would make the statement more credible, but its irrelevant anyway. I don't understand why you insist on keeping the information. I strongly believe in WP:NPOV but if its not relevant or well cited, why keep it? The World 15:45, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Mumbai Edit
I didnt mean to revert the links, just meant to revert the image changes that were undiscussed. Nikkul (talk) 07:29, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- It seems like you don't understand that Wikipedia policy is that images and important changes need to be discussed with other editors BEFORE you change them. Please stop the edit war and wait for other people to post their opinion on your image proposals before changing them on the talk page. Please do not start an edit war. Thanks. Re: Brabourne Stadium
No problem, will have a look through it now for you. Initial thoughts are that you need to tighten the referencing, and that you don't need to reference things in the lead as long as they are referenced when they appear later in the article. Beyond that, I'll give you some more specific ideas on the article's talk page. Harrias talk 12:37, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- I've gone through and cleaned a few things up. I'd suggest that you have a look at grounds used in other sports that are featured, and try and model off those to an extent (see City of Manchester Stadium, Herschel Greer Stadium for example). Once you've got the parts of the article that you have identified as unfinished up to a standard that you are happy with, list the article at WP:PEER REVIEW. Let me know, and I'll head over and give you some help, and I'll try and help direct a few other editors with experience in this sort of area to have a look too. Any further questions, feel free to ping me. Harrias talk 13:02, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'll try and pop in and out of the article to give you a hand with it too. I'm aiming to get County Ground, Taunton up to a decent level, but it's one of many things that I've started and put on the back burner! Harrias talk 16:48, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- I'm afraid there's not much I can do to help you here. Other than what is on CricketArchive or Cricinfo, I have no sources on the stadium. And I don't know much about any relevant stuff; I might have a few details of tours etc, but nothing directly about the stadium. Sorry I can't be of more assistance! --Sarastro1 (talk) 21:26, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Dharavi Image
Hi,
I support the removal of the Dharavi image in the Mumbai section, but I think the replacement images you are proposing are not good. Would you be willing to propose a different image in the demographics section? If so, then I would support it. In the past we used to have File:Mumbai skyline B&W.jpg with the caption: "Since the 1970s, Mumbai has witnessed a construction boom and a significant influx of migrants, making it India's largest city." Autopatroller
Hi AroundTheGlobe, just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled right to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature should have little to no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the patroller right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Mifter (talk) 00:37, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Brabourne 100s
Sure. Good to see that you have improved the article on the ground too. Tintin 12:58, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
- As for references, I had the Raiji/Dossa book mentioned in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brabourne_Stadium#Further_reading .It will be tough to dig it up again, but I bought this book on Brabourne recently. I am yet to read it and it is mostly articles by different people, but it should have some useful stuff. Tintin 07:16, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

BSE Image
Hi,
Please review the talk page. There is no consensus AT ALL about removing the BSE image. 2 people support. 2 people oppose. and 1 indifferent. HOW IS THAT CONSENSUS?? Please stop reverting or I will have to report you to an admin. I understand that you are trying to make good edits, but please read about consensus before reverting. Thanks. April 2011
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mumbai. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Abhishek Talk to me 03:51, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
