I am from Kailar
I have read that you have some comments about yoruks of Kailar. Thanks a lot for getting from brittanica 1911 item about Kailar yoruks. If you want to see a kai beys familiy fotos one of them here. Our family could come to Turkey in 1926 but our well educated best decents were killed in Atin Exile between 1912 -1926. --3210 22:44, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Hamites
Hi! You edited the following sentence (Beja_people) by adding the word "scientifically". They formerly were classified as belonging to the Hamitic stock (a now politically and scientifically incorrect classification). I really am at los as to your reluctance to admit that the Hamites exist as such. The Berbers, the Somalis, the Bejas etc. are quite different to the true African Blacks (i.e. Bantus etc.) and wheter we call them "Hamites" or else this difference exists and is acknowledged by them. Apostolos Margaritis 16:45, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
That was an weird comment that you left on my page and exposes your obvious ignorance (no offense) pertaining to indigenous African diversity. There is no such thing as a "Hamite" and Somalis are more related to people of Northern Kenya than they are to any Berbers. This is a false dichotomy.. Africa is the most diverse place on the planet and there is no such thing as a "true black" as "black" simply denotes skin color. Beja people are most closely related to the Tuareg, Tuaregs are West African berber-speakers, closely akin to other west africans and berbers, and share 80% maternal lineages with other so-called "true blacks".. You are adhering to racial stereotypes and to suggest that they separate themselves from other "blacks" is ridiculously false! Maybe some Amazigh Berbers, but definitely not east Africans, the heart of the pan-african movement. I converse with Somalis and Ethiopians, etc, a lot, and they surely don't consider themselves "true whites" or "true Eurasians" or "true asians", or "true Australians" or "true hamites".. They consider themselves Africans closely related to other Africans culturally and genetically well before they consider themselves belonging to any of your long debunked, pseudo-scientific racial categories that seek to divide Africans and put them against each other. Continental Africans don't buy that. Sorry..Taharqa 19:20, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
Pity you haven't read yet this book Taharqa! This Somalian (Dutch) politician clearly states in her book that her people always differentiated themselves from the other Africans. The Somalis are -according to her- very keen on emphasizing their different look (such as their thin, straight noses as opposed to the one of the "other" Africans) to give you just this trivial -but significant- example. Apostolos Margaritis 14:06, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Until you produce textual and geneteic evidence for your bogus claims, I will not debate you on it. I have provided genetic empirical study showing that they only have 15% genetic input from foreigners and all you can do is rant about subjective looks and what some non-african's opinion is about the feelings of Africans.. Refer to the data.. See this topic here concerning the Somali model Iman, who identifies as black, like most Somalis.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070704183508AA9vY6Z&show=7 - Taharqa
All you need is common sense and good eyesight to realize Somalis are really so different to the true Blacks of the interior of Africa. Indeed, the more you penetrate the interior of this continent the more you are prone to meet 'the true' African types (no matter how much you dislike this word). That's why you will encounter these untainted, endogamous archeypal African tribes, I say 'African' par excellence, in the Congo basin where the Pygmies still abound, in the former Central African Empire, along the shores of Zambezi in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Eastern Angola etc. but also in the Ugandan highlands and to the West in the depths of the Equatorial forests in Gabon or even Cameroon. On the shores of the Indian Ocean the Arab, Indian, Persian, Dravidian or Veddoid admixtures are obvious, while on those of the Atlantic the Moors left their traces not only in Mauritania but even south of it.
File:Jean Bédel Bokassa.jpg File:Kenneth Kaunda.jpg
Types of Africans from the 'interior': Uganda's Idi Amin, Central Africa's Jean Bedel Bokasa, Zaire's Mobutu and Zambia's Kaunda. None of them could pass for a (Hamite?) Somalian, could they? Don't get me wrong Taharqa! I respect and love the African branch of the human family of people as much as the all the rest. I'm not a racist or a suprematist. But I strongly advocate diversity and miscegenation as a fait accomplit and we cannot opose them for the sake of some kind of exclusive pan-African (or Afrocentric) ideology that you seem to promote. Regarding this edit, note that per Wikipedia policy, recruiting others off-wiki to come push an agenda for you is not allowed. Since AFD is explicitly not a vote, encouraging single-purpose accounts will not help your cause. Overrunning AFD with puppet accounts is extremely disruptive and may lead to blocking. Consider this a friendly caution. Best, shoy (words words) 16:36, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
