Hi Mike, |

I didn't say that what you wrote was awful, or bad writing; just that it looks bad. Nor was I trying to one-up you. You can overreact to my advice if you like, that's always an option. But, my only concern is that these look like fan sites and not like encyclopedic entries. The reason for my concern is that, eventually, Wikipedia administrators will delete them for that very reason. If you want to make them Wiki compliant, you could look at some of the gun pages for a guide. I don't know enough about Strider and Emerson to add anything encyclopedic. I am trying to help you. If you don't want the advice, you don't have to take it. But when they delete those articles, you'll know why. |

I'm Mike Searson.
I'm a Firearms Instructor for the National Rifle Association, a knife collector, part time rifle builder, and an Indult Catholic and am going through formation as a Third-Order Religious; I'm undecided on whether or not I should go Franciscan or Carmelite.
I'm just here to help out with a few things I know a little bit about: guns, ammunition, knives (primarily custom folders),Ecclesiastical Latin, and cars specifically the Chevrolet Corvette C3.
I served as a United States Marine with 1st Battalion 9th Marines and other units in the 1st Marine Regiment. I was an Infantryman, Rifleman also known as a Grunt.
After leaving the Marine Corps, I worked in the firearms industry for many years; primarily as a ballistician but also as a salesman and Instructor. I've also worked for Law Enforcement and as a Private Investigator. I'm proudly a part of what is known as the Gun culture.
