Things that I don't like, and usually cause me to go straight for the Edit link.
- Images should have captions, regardless of whether they are coded
thumb
or not. Why? Because the caption is used as the<img>
tag'salt
value, and if there's nothing specified, nothing is put there (thereby making it difficult for search engines and people who use non-standard browsing methods). More info - Periods in image captions when there is only a single sentence. I generally kill these on sight. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Captions.
- HTML instead of XHTML. Generally, this doesn't matter, but if I see
<br>
tags (usually in infoboxes), I'll change them to<br />
tags. - Header capitalization. Only the first word should be capped, unless it is a proper noun. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings)#Capitalization.
- Related to this is links in headers. It just shouldn't happen, and it looks really bad. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style (headings)#Linking.
- "External links" when there's just a single link. C'mon, people, counting to one and realizing that one does not garner plural words isn't very hard. See Wikipedia:External links#"External links" vs "External link".

Collection of insults
I have been called:
- a cunt [15]
- a racist (actually, I was accused of racial profiling, but that's about the same) [16]
- a censor of free speech on Wikipedia [17]
- the king of knee-jerk reactions [18]
- a moron [19]
- Jewish (a troll I indef blocked linked my name to "Jewula") [20] (while I don't find Jews offensive, it was meant as an insult)
- I have been accused of ruining articles [21]
- someone with a split personality called me a fucker (well, a "f****r") [22]
- the same person also called me a "fucking ass pounder" [23]
- the same person yet again declared that "EVula likes ass" [24] and that I like having gay sex with men.[25]
- my favorite: I was called a lug head on YouTube [26]

Believe me, I've got plenty of other websites, but Wikipedia probably wouldn't like me to link to all of them. ;)

Fun stuff just for you, just because you made it to the bottom of my userpage
I love humor. Here's (inadvertently) funny stuff I've run across while doing wiki-work.
- In doing research for AfD/Arizona Wilder, I found a website that claimed "the President and Vice-President of the U.S. are child-molesting, shape-shifting reptilians". The article itself had such good-times stuff as "... she allegedly witnessed such people as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Gerald Ford, and George H.W. Bush conducting cannibalistic rituals in which many of them were seen to "shape-shift" into demons." Woo-boy, loads of laughs.
- The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot — Best movie title of all time, or best movie title ever? You make the call!
I'll be sure to add more as I find it...
