[1]First developed in the seventies is Toa Payoh Town Park of 4.8-hectare. It was popular for wedding couples who love to recap the chic and fashion of the seventies. The observation tower and landscaped pond surrounded by willowing trees are the main features of the park.
Open-concept restrooms, a large pavilion with a stage for organised activities, rustic-looking gazebos for relaxing purposes and brightly coloured pathways for a fun stroll are available in this park.
Cascading pools at the edge of the pond, fountain pool around the observation tower, trellises with climbing plants, colourful landscapes and festive lighting during festive celebrations are some other popular features in the park.
