What is this used for? Jellochuu 15:37, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Not sure. It is currently on WP:TFD. --Whosyourjudas (talk) 15:40, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
I made this template, because it seems more intuitive and easier to remember that writing the whole thing out. If someone wanted to enter the pic tag or the some other tag, but it was messing up the formatting, it's useful to be able to type in front of it.
Here is some wikicode:
Here is a saluki.<br>Isn't it cute?<br>...<br>... And here is a pair of Saluki puppies.
This looks like this:
Here is a saluki.
Isn't it cute?
...
...
And here is a pair of Saluki puppies.
Now, if you wanted the dogs to be one over the other, not zig-zagging, you could use this code:
Here is a saluki.<br>Isn't it cute? And here is a pair of Saluki puppies.
That's what the tag is for. – Quadell (talk) (help)[[]] 18:50, Dec 5, 2004 (UTC)
- While I appreciate that that's a useful function, the template needs a more descriptive name. As it stands, it's confusing and not at all clear what it's for. --DropDeadGorgias (talk) 03:34, Apr 12, 2005 (UTC)
