When did terrorists become assasins? This man killed people on street. At daylight and never felt guilty. How can you make a hero from a psychopath ? There aren't any mentions of this. |

"The Turkish government had previously stated that all of the Turkish leaders during the time of the Armenian Genocide had been tried, sentenced, and killed. When Tehlirian killed Talaat Pasha in Berlin, the former Turkish leader had already been considered dead."
Can you give sources for this?--Kagan the Barbarian 12:58, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
I suspect no citation is possible. That was an argument made by Tehlirian's legal council. It is important to note, and this is noted in the court documentation, that the judge dismissed the argument of Pasha already being considered dead.

Date of Birth
Tehlirian's remains are at a memorial in the center of the Masis Ararat Cemetery in Fresno, CA. The stone reads clearly that he was born on April 15, 1896 and died on May 23, 1960. There seems to be a discrepancy with the dates in this article and his headstone.
