This article needs effective discussion of Mya Byrne's transition (she is a self-identified transwoman), insofar as it has intersected with her career, publicity and public life. Without it, the article has less context (an expressed concern of the VfD filing that's underway). Pondering. -- [[User:RyanFreisling]] [[User_talk:RyanFreisling|@]] 15:36, 30 August 2014 (UTC) |

Also Mya's fights with 'fascist' lesbians should be mentioned. I cannot find RS for his 'transdyke' activities, but see here: |

I have just rewritten Jeremiah Birnbaum's entry, deleting all text from copyrighted sources and adding Wiki markups.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.161.10.96 (talk • contribs) 19:43, 22 June 2005
2/1/07 Lacks independant qualification to support notability. Source of information seems to be subject himself. Appears to be autobiographical fluff. Deletion suggested.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.38.146.27 (talk • contribs) 06:50, 2 February 2007
Birnbaum is a working, touring musician from New York. The words on this page are not conjecture, but facts supported by cited articles. The entry has been updated more than a few times by different, unique contributors and editors and adheres to the copyright requirements. There is no negative content that is evident here. Please consider helping this page grow and better adhere to the guidleines rather than deleting it. 69.86.228.219 09:12, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Problematic / Missing Sources (moved to Talk)
I pulled this stuff from the article during an overhaul edit. Could benefit from Waybacking or other research. -- User:RyanFreisling @ 14:49, 30 August 2014 (UTC)

Rockwood Music Hall
I have a blog link that mentions Mya (then Jeremiah Birnbaum) playing in the Rockwood Music Hall backup band, but it doesn't describe the duration of her tenure nor her instrument: http://www.benjaminwagner.com/2007/08/30/ I would include it if it were more notable and more detailed but as it is it's little more than verification. -- User:RyanFreisling @ 16:15, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
