I added a pov tag. Its about a suburb of Damascus and there is nothing here about todays suburb. Its only focused on one thing that really should be a minor subject. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 21:05, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think the POV tag is correctly placed here. Maybe {{::expand}} would be a better choice. History is not a minor subject at all. As Pearl Buck said: "If you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday." Chesdovi (talk) 17:14, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The article is not focused on what it should be focused on. Thats a pov problem. Even the first line: "historically a village on the outskirts of Damascus, Syria, is now a suburb of the capital" is problematic. It should say that its a suburb of Damascus, and then more detailed explanation in history. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 17:29, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think its okay as it is. Chesdovi (talk) 17:41, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"The old synagogue was converted into a school for displaced Arabs."
Look at this image that looks recent, it shows no trace of the synagogue being converted into "a school for displaced Arabs". --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 17:32, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I could not find anything about its status today. If you can, please add. Chesdovi (talk) 17:41, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
