Use of 'season' and 'production cycle' terminology
The entire set of the show's articles should have an entire refresh to separate out and make it clear when discussing seasons. For animated shows, the word season is used for two different things that can make things confusing and I propose we re-instate the wording that was present on these articles for years until User:Orange Mo took it upon themselves to remove it without any discussion.
- Season - this refers to the episodes aired within a single broadcast TV season (September 20xx to May 20yy).
- Production Cycle - this refers to the orders FOX makes to renew the show, which doesn't translate to the broadcast seasons - ie the tenth season is made up entirely of episodes from the ninth production cycle (9ASAxx).
Separating the two out makes things clearer and doesn't lead to the current ambiguity that the current wording has. Thoughts? - Riggleby (talk) 06:04, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
- Obviously I've come across an issue that has not come to a clear consensus, but being several animated shows pages exist, rather than us edit warring, what is WP policy on episode listing as season or cycle? Jennablurrs7575 (talk) 07:23, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
- The presence of the use of these terms have been on the Bob's Burgers suite of articles for years - since 2012 as seen on this edit from another user on the season 2 article. I don't understand how exactly this is an issue eight years later? Even your edit reason shows why the two terms should exist as you weren't able to realise that the rest of the article where the term "season" was used was referring to the broadcast seasons in the typical US broadcast seasons and not the episode orders made by Fox. - Riggleby (talk) 06:18, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Animated television series about dysfunctional families?
In edit 16:06, 12 September 2020 this article was added to this category, but I do not think that Bob's Burgers is representative of a dysfunctional family lifestyle experience. https://www.cbr.com/bobs-burgers-solves-animations-toxic-family-problem/ references the idea of "dysfunctional families" but suggests "Bob’s Burgers is one of the rare shows to feature a supportive family dynamic, where the members stand up for each other and humor their flights of whimsy." Maybe `Category:Animated_television_series_about_functional_families` or `Category:Animated_television_series_about_supportive_families` might be better? Otherwise, in the CBR article "It’s no secret that dysfunctional families make for great entertainment" (which I don't believe this is an accurate narrative projecting dysfunctional behaviors or situations (that accounts for every human in entirety of humanity) to be labeled as objectively dysfunctional, rather than functional, such that practically every tv sitcom show that exists or has ever been produced may as well qualify to be labeled as a television series about dysfunctional families. e.g. everything at `Category:Television_series_about_families` Jasonkhanlar (talk) 19:08, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
