Sushila Rameshwar Dudi (born 1966) is an Indian politician from Rajasthan. She is a first-time MLA from Nokha Constituency. She won the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election on Indian National Congress Party ticket from Nokha Assembly Constituency in Bikaner District.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
Dudi hails from Nokha town in Bikaner district. Her husband Rameshwar Dudi is the sitting MLA. After his hospitalisation due to brain haemorrhage, Congress nominated his wife Sushila to contest the Nokha seat.[4][5][6]
Career
Sushila despite being a first-timer, won the MLA seat held by her ailing husband even though Congress did not fare well in the election.[7] She won representing Indian National Congress in the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election from Nokha Assembly Constituency defeating Bihari Lal Bishnoi of BJP by a margin of 8,149 votes.[1]
