Suqovuşan (Azerbaijani: Suqovuşan) or Madaghis (Armenian: Մադաղիս, romanized: Madaghis) is a village in the Tartar District of Azerbaijan Republic, but is de-facto controlled by the Republic of Artsakh. It is located 30 kilometers north-west of the left bank of the river Tartar. There is a secondary school in the village.
The village has been the site of the 2016 Nagorno-Karabakh clashes. On 3 October, 2020 Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev announced control of the village.[1]
