Shenphen Rinpoche is the spiritual teacher of Buddhist Congregation Dharmaling. He was recognised by Kharnang Monastery and Sera-Jhe Jadrel Kamtsen as the Tulku of Gendun Rabgye.[1] He was a monk for 23 years (from 1986 to 2008) ordained by Khensur Geshe Tekchog, Getsul by Kyabje Thubten Zopa Rinpoche and Gelong (Bhikkhu) by Tenzin Gyatso the 14th Dalai Lama.
Activity in Slovenia
From 2004 to 2012 Shenpen Rinpoche was very active in Slovene public life, registering a Buddhist religious community despite opposition from the state,[2] entering a proposal of law, establishing a clear separation of church and state in a predominantly catholic state.[3][4]
