A resource-based economy may refer to:
- The economy of a country whose gross national product to a large extent comes from natural resources, such as Russia,[1] and Norway.[2]
- The name used by The Venus Project and The Zeitgeist Movement to describe a hypothetical post-scarcity world economy.[3]
