Where was he born? |
Liverpool FC profile states he was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Since all the information posted in the first paragraph can be found on the 1st citation, which is LFC's Official Website, which I would deem reliable. |

I would deem that a more reliable source than Mirror Football. The profile also states he's an England Youth international... anyone know what level he's represented with a clear source for it?--> |

Raheem Sterling (born 8 December 1994) is an English footballer who plays for Premier League team Liverpool. He was born in Kingston, Jamaica.[1]
Career
Sterling was signed from Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in February of 2010 for an initial fee of £600,000, but this could rise to £5 million if he is successful.[2] In the words of his former coach at QPR, "He has loads of natural ability. This boy can pass, shoot, head it, score goals, tackle, defend, anything."[3]
Though only a youth player, in February 2011 he was thrust into the national spotlight after scoring five goals for Liverpool's Youth Team win in FA Youth Cup, which ended in a 9–0 win over Southend United Youth on 14 February 2011.[4]
Following this, Sterling was selected with Jack Robinson, Conor Coady and John Flannagan to travel and train with the squad on the game against Sparta Prague in the Europa League on 18 February 2011. At the age of 16 years and 71 days, Sterling would become the youngest ever player to represent Liverpool, breaking the record set in 2010 by Jack Robinson.[5] However, he was not selected to start on the pitch or on the bench.
On, Saturday 19 February he scored another two goals against Stoke during the FA Youth cup for a total of seven goals in two games.[citation needed]
Personal life
He attends Rainhill High School.[6]
