Nadine Apetz (born 3 January 1986, in Haan) is a German amateur boxer.[1][2] She was a bronze medallist at the 2016 and 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships, and has won the German championship six times.[3][4] She started boxing aged 21, whilst studying at the University of Bremen.[5]
In June 2021, Apetz qualified to represent Germany at the 2020 Summer Olympics, by reaching the semi-finals of the 2020 European Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament.[6]
Apetz has been undertaking a doctorate in neuroscience, studying brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease.[3] Her boxing trainer is Lukas Wilaschek.[5]
