Manoj Kumar Tiwary (born November 14, 1985), in Howrah, Bengal, is an Indian cricketer.
A right handed batsman, Tiwary plays domestic cricket for Bengal and has captained his country at Under-19s. He took just 14 games to score over 1000 runs, at an average of 56. He has a highest score of 210 not out but his best innings to date was arguably his match winning 151* in the 4th innings to give his side victory over Karnataka in the Ranji Trophy Super League semi final of 2006/07. Bengal lost to Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy final and Tiwary finished the campaign with 796 runs at 99.50 from his 7 matches. The season aggregate was the highest ever for Bengal in the Ranji Trophy, going past of record of Arun Lal which was set in 1993-94.[2] With Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly being rested after the 2007 World Cup, Tiwary was named in the squad for an ODI series against Bangladesh. He was however injured in training.
In February 2008 he made his One Day International debut playing against Australia.
