Lockerbie railway station lies on the West Coast Main Line between Carlisle and Carstairs in the town of Lockerbie, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
Lockerbie station, until recently, was the only station in the UK to be operated by a train company whose services do not call at that station. It is owned by Network Rail, and managed by First ScotRail but all services are provided by Virgin Trains. It has now been joined by Long Buckby station which is managed by Silverlink but served by Central Trains and Dronfield railway station which is managed by Northern Rail but served by Midland Mainline, Central Trains and Virgin Trains.
