BMI Awards
The Broadcast Music, Incorporated (BMI) Awards is an annual award show hosted for the purpose of giving awards to songwriters. Songwriters are selected each year from the entire BMI catalog, based on the amount of performances during the award period. At the 56th annual BMI awards, "Teardrops on My Guitar", a song co-written by Taylor Swift and Liz Rose, took home the honor, "Country Song of the Year".[15] Beside Teardrops on My Guitar, Tim McGraw and Our Song both earned the honors of "BMI Award Winning Song" in 2007 and 2008 respectively.[16][17]
At the BMI's 57th Annual Pop Awards in 2009, Taylor Swift's crossover hit Teardrops on My Guitar earned a BMI Pop Award. In addition to that, Swift also received the BMI President’s Award, which honors an exceptional individual in the entertainment industry deserving of special recognition. The BMI President’s Award is presented only on unique occasions when an individual has distinctly and profoundly influenced the industry.[18]

Her four sold out shows occurring on August 19–20 & 23-24 began a wave of record breaking shows. On Monday August 19 she surpassed Madonna and Justin Timberlake, who each have logged seven sellouts, Tuesday August 20 she topped Britney Spears' previous record of eight sellouts. Following her Friday August 23 & Saturday August 24th shows she will become the #1 Solo Artist and tied with Latin Pop Group Mana for most overall sellouts. with 11.[81]
- In 2013, the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) honored Swift with its songwriter/artist of the year award. This was her sixth win, surpassing five-time winners Vince Gill and Alan Jackson.[48]
- On October 26, 2013, Taylor Swift became the first solo female artist in 20 years to headline a national stadium tour through Australia, with the last being Madonna's "Girlie Show" tour in 1993.[82]
- On December 4, 2013, Taylor Swift performed to an at capacity crowd of over 40,900 fans at the Allianz Stadium: Sydney, Australia; becoming the first female artist in history to sell out the stadium since opening in 1988.[83]
