There is 1 international airports and 2 unscheduled airports. Kristiansand Airport, Kjevik is the only public airport in Southern Norway and also the main airport for the Agder counties. It has a route network with many destinations in Norway and a few in Europe witch is a problem for the city and the airport. It has a lot of complains for being to small and for not having many international routes. Other problems at the airport is that the runway is two short and that it needs jetbridges. Arendal Airport, Gullknapp will be opening when they get a new runway. All that is confirmed so far is that Lufttransport will be flying domestic routs. Farsund Airport, Lista closed in 2003 after most of the airlines witch operated from the airport went bankrupt.
