The 2018 Kivu Democratic Republic of the Congo Ebola virus outbreak began on August 1 2018, it was confirmed that four cases of Ebola had tested positive in Kivu in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo[2][3]
Epidemiology
On 1 August 2018 the 10th Ebola outbreak was declared in the Democratic Republic of Congo, only a few days after a prior outbreak in the same country had been declared over on 24 August[4]
