Song |
"Kittin Is High" is a song by French recording artist Miss Kittin. It is the first single from her fourth studio album BatBox (2008). Co-written and produced by Pascal Gabriel, it is composed as an electropop song, where Miss Kittin sings about witches, vampires, and the goth subculture.
Critical reception
Stéphane Girard of Resident Advisor commented that the song "works well," but pales in comparison to its remixes by Jojo de Freq and Black Labelle.[1]
Music video
The animated music video for "Kittin Is High" was designed by Rob Reger, creator of the Emily the Strange character, and directed by Sven Steinmeyer.[2] Steinmeyer had previously directed the animated music video for Miss Kittin's single "Professional Distortion" from her album I Com.[3]
