Kevin Hart (born July 6, 1979)[1][2][3] is an American actor and stand-up comedian.
Career
Hart is an actor and comedian. In 2004, he produced and starred in The Big House, a short-lived situational comedy on ABC. In 2008, Hart was featured in Three 6 Mafia's music video for "Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)". In 2009, Hart appeared in a series of eBay commercials.[4] Also in 2009, Hart played a sorcerer, "Zezelryck", in a comedy television series for Comedy Central, In 2011, he appeared in T-Pain's music video "Booty Wurk (One Cheek At a Time)".
He has done several stand-up TV specials for Comedy Central, including I'm A Grown Little Man (2009), Seriously Funny (2010), and Laugh At My Pain (2011). In 2010, Hart appeared in Air Jordan commercials alongside Dwyane Wade. Hart also appears occasionally as a "round table" guest on the late night E! talk show Chelsea Lately. On June 26, 2011, he hosted the 2011 BET Awards. His stand up film "Laugh at My Pain" was released theatrically on September 9, 2011. Hart also made cameo appearances in DJ Drama's music video "Oh My" and the romantic comedy film Exit Strategy (2012).
Hart appeared in Modern Family on November 2, 2011, as Phil Dunphy's next-door neighbor.[5] He reprised his character May 2, 2012, episode "Planes, Trains, and Cars."
Hart was named MVP of the 2012 NBA All-Star celebrity Game in Orlando, despite being ejected in the fourth quarter.[6][7]
In September 2012, he will host the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards from Los Angeles.
