Joseph Vijay is a Tamil actor, born June 22, 1974. He is affectionately known as Ilaya Thalapathy among his fans, which literally means Young General and is credited onscreen as such. He has appeared in a large number of movies and is as well an ambassador for various brands.

Career

Later on, at the age of twenty, he had his first successful release, Rasigan. Many low-budget masala movies followed, among them Rajavin Parvaiyile where he co-starred with Ajith. While he was filming Minsara Kanna in 1999, he married Sangeetha.
