Ronald Jason Knight, is an American professional wrestler and manager better known by his ring names Jason Knight or simply Jason. Jason is most known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), where he was self-billed as the "sexiest man alive".
Career
Jason Knight wrestled in the main event of the fourth episode of the World Wrestling Federation's Monday Night RAW on February 1, 1993, losing to "The Narcissist" Lex Luger in Luger's WWF on-screen ring debut.
Jason was highly involved with the early years of ECW, managing many heel wrestlers. He also wrestled occasionally, and defeated Mikey Whipwreck for the ECW Television Championship.
After one appearance in early 1996, he disappeared until September 1997, when he debuted Justin Credible and began a heel stable which included Chastity and Nicole Bass. Soon after, he entered a long feud with Jazz.
His last appearance on national television was at the WWE-produced ECW One Night Stand 2005 pay-per-view alongside Justin Credible, with whom he helped Lance Storm win his match with Chris Jericho. After ECW folded in 2001, Knight launched his own pro wrestling independent promotion, Assault Championship Wrestling, which lasted until 2003 and ran shows in Connecticut. Jason is currently involved with Defiant Pro Wrestling, an independent promotion also stationed in Connecticut, as its (kayfabe) commissioner.
