Janet E. Turner (1914–1988) was an American artist known for her printmaking.[1] She was born in Kansas City, Missouri.
Her work is included in the collections of the Seattle Art Museum,[2] the Smithsonian American Art Museum,[1] the Portland Art Museum[3] the Dallas Museum of Art,[4] the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts[5] and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.[6]
Turner was a professor of art at California State University, Chico, between 1959 and 1981, and died in Chico.[7] The Janet Turner Print Museum at the university was created in her name.[8]
