Jaipur School was started in 1979 by Jaipur School Samiti a non profit, non-minority group which was registered in 1980 in Rajasthan state of India to promote education among all classes of people in the state in English, Hindi and other languages.
The founder secretary was Major N.K. Sharma (retired) and in later years school principals included Mrs Matthew, Mrs Rao, Mrs Nafeesa Dehlvi, Mrs Satvinder Kaur and currently Mrs Rekha Narula - reflecting the secular ethos of the group amidst adherence to Indian culture and tradition.
It started as a KinderGarten to class 3rd school and later evolved into a K-12 school affiliated to Board of Rajasthan for many years and subsequently in 2005 recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school has produced many toppers in state board exams and many merit scholars at CBSE. Many students have gone on to join IITs, NDA, and many other engineering, medical , defense and business management programs. Alumni have spread notonly across India but acros the globe in far flung places including New Zealand, Australia, USA etc.
