The Informationsdienst gegen Rechtsextremismus (IDGR) (Information Service against Right-Wing Extremism) was a German-language internet portal devoted to collecting information about persons, organisations and publications thought to promote right-wing extremism, Anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial.[1] It was founded in 1998 and maintained until 2006 by Margret Chatwin.[2]
In 2002, the IDGR recieved a price by the Bündnis für Demokratie und Toleranz,[3] an initiative for supporting civil engagement against racism, extremism and antisemitism.[4] Critics have accused the IDGR of engaging in unduly exposing and defaming individuals on the political right, and of being associated with far-left extremism.[5]
