"I Love Livin' in the City" is also featured on the soundtrack to The Warriors and Tony Hawk's Underground 2. It also appeared in the movie SLC Punk. LA hardcore punk band Rotting Out covered the song on their demo This Is Just a Life, and Detroit punk band The Meatmen both live and on record. At their May 2, 2012 show, Red Hot Chili Peppers and former Fear bassist, Flea teased the song as a intro to the Chili Peppers' song, Look Around.
