Hunter's Planet is a Science fiction novel written by David Bischoff. It is a sequal to the first Dark Horse graphic novel and subsequent novelization by Steve Perry called Prey. |
==Plot== |
The main protaganist is Machiko Noguchi, a tough woman who has fought with Predators and Aliens in the past. She has returned to a beauraucratic job at home, and though her life is boring, she spars with an android assistant named Atilla the Hun, to keep up her martial arts skills. |
Soon, she is hired by a trillionaire named Livermore Evanston, who owns a planet that he's converting in a hunter's paradise for rich humans. However, his cloning factory which produces copies of huntable creatures masks an operation used to convert Aliens into controllable warriors. |
Machiko finds romance with a mercenary named Ned Sanchez as Predators enter the story. Later, Machiko rebels against and kill Evanston with the help of Atilla, who turns out to be more than he seems. |
Finally, Machiko, Atilla, and the surviving mercenaries are left in control of the world. |
