Hobart Welded Steel House Co. was a company that manufactured 22 pre-fabricated steel houses during 1932-1941. The manufacturing company and all 22 houses were located in Troy, Ohio.[1] This article is about the firm and also provides a List of Hobart Welded Steel House Co. houses.
Sixteen of its houses plus three garages and a shed were nominated for the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). These were listed on the NRHP in 1989.[2] One house has been demolished; five surviving others were not nominated for NRHP listing.[1]
