The Shears (Hada plebeja) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is found in Europe.
The wingspan is 30-35 mm. The length of the forewings is 14-17 mm. The moth flies from late May to July. [1].
The larvae feed on Smooth Hawksbeard, Hieracium pilosella and Alfalfa.
