Lorraine Weekend |
Good Morning Britain is a upcoming national British morning television programme broadcast on ITV from 2014.[1]
Overview
The programme will replace Daybreak due to poor viewing figures,[2] existing presenter Aled Jones will move to a new weekend programme titled Weekend, whilst his colleague Lorraine Kelly will continue to front sister programme Lorraine every weekday.[3] ITV Director of Daytime, Helen Warner said:
Engaging, news driven content is our number one priority and will be at the heart of everything we do on Good Morning Britain. I believe we have a top team in place to deliver this and make this a compelling proposition to wake up to in the morning.
Presenters
The new presenting team has been announced as:[1][4]
- Sean Fletcher – Sky Sports News presenter
- Charlotte Hawkins – rival Sky News Sunrise presenter
- Susanna Reid – rival BBC Breakfast co-presenter
- Ben Shephard – Sky Sports and Tipping Point presenter; formerly GMTV presenter
