Frehiwot Gesese Ayana (born 1 January 2006) is an Ethiopian steeplechase runner. She won a silver medal in the 2000 metres steeplechase at the 2023 African U18 Championships, and she is the current Ethiopian U20 record-holder in that event.
Career
Frehiwot has competed in athletics since 2021, finishing 6th at the Ethiopian Athletics Federation competition in Addis Ababa. In her first Ethiopian Athletics Championships, she finished 9th in the 3000 m steeplechase in 2022.[2]
