Francisco Javier Peral Periane, usually called by his nickname, Javito, (born 4 November 1983, Plasencia, Spain) is a right winger/attacker playing for Deportivo La Coruña, on loan from Aris
Barcelona
In the UEFA Champions League, debuted for Barça's first team in the match with Shakhtar Donetsk back in 2002. Known for his explosiveness and quickness. Also an occasional goal-scorer for his team. Very fit player with decent working-rate for one attacker. Talented player with great technique and dribbling ability. He's not afraid to shoot from distance.
Aris
He joined Aris in summer 2006, rather as first Spanish acquisition of the time, as a result of great relationships to Spanish transfer market that famous Spanish agent and ex-collaborator in Aris, Manel Ferrer had. At the beginning of season 2006/07 Javito immediately established himself into starting XI impressing Aris fans by his afore-mantioned exlosiveness.
As far as Aris' career is concerned, his most notable moments are a great 4:0 win over AEK FC in the post-season 2008 play-offs, netting 2 goals and his away goal at Zaragoza (on October 4, 2007), securing his team the first and historic UEFA Cup 2007/08 group stage qualification.
Besides, during the season, proved several times that even when his attacking team-mates were not found in best day, he would score important goals deciding the match outcomes.
Firstly signed a 2-year contract. Then, after good performances at the late stages of season 2007/08 where he generally had not been a starter under Dušan Bajević, finally earnt himself a contract extension of another 3 years (2011) for approximate annual wages of 180.000 euros, as some close sources reported.
Javito started the season 2008/09 brightly in a high scoring fashion, showing great individual form at the beginning of the season by scoring the winning goal against Olympiacos (1:0, October 26, 2008) and breaking the 10 year record of invincibility that Olympiakos had held at Aris' own stadium.
In 2010/2011 season (on September 17, 2010 ) Javito scored the winning goal against Atlético Madrid – holders of Europa League, in Aris victory 1:0. October 4, he scored against PAOK in Toumpa, a great goal that gave Aris the win with 1:0. He was also announced MVP of 5th matchday of Greek Superleague.
In the January 2011 transfer window, Javito was loaned to Spanish outfit Deportivo de La Coruña for the remainder of the season.
Olympiacos FC
In January 2011 Javito had an oral agreement with Olympiacos for June 2011 where he will join Ernesto Valverde squad.
Personal life
He got married with Isabel in summer 2008, finally crowning their long-distance relationship at some period while Javito was playing football in Thessaloniki and his fiancee was in Spain. In the same year, also got his new-born daughter Sophia, whom he dedicated a goal scored to, in the season 2008/09 opener against Levadiakos which Aris overcame 2:0 at home.In 22 December 2009 was born Naia, his second daughter.
