The Foundation for a Smoke-Free World is an organization funded by Phillip Morris International, a tobacco company, to give out research grants. Its claims to independence have been challenged.[1][2][3][4] It has been criticised by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Action on Smoking and Health (ASH), and Corporate Accountability International.[2]
