Douglas Schoen is a political analyst, pollster, author, and commentator in the United States. He partnered with Mark Penn and Michael Berland in the firm of Penn, Schoen & Berland.
Schoen graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School[1] and attended Horace Mann High School in New York City. He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from Oxford University.[2]
He has advised then Republican New York City mayoral candidate Michael Bloomberg during his successful campaign in 2001 and again when he ran for re-election in 2005.[3]
He has served as an adviser to large American businesses including AOL Time Warner, Procter & Gamble, Major League Baseball, AT&T, Frito Lay, and Citibank.[4]
Schoen was involved in a controversy when his firm released exit polls from the Venezuelan presidential elections.
