Lam started to study traditional Chinese painting at the age of six, art has been his first love. A serendipitous discovery in 1980 while developing a black-and-white photograph of a retina led Lam to the invention of an entirely new art medium, "chromoskedasic painting." Dominic Lam is known in Hong Kong as an entrepreneur and an artist.
Biography
He was born in Swatow, grew up in Hong Kong. He studied under two Nobel Laureates at Harvard Medical School before joining the Harvard Faculty and subsequently became Professor of Ophthalmology and Chairman of Center for Biotechnology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.[1]
