Plot
The mixed media project takes place in a world where mass comas result from a mysterious illness call “Randolph Syndrome”.[1] At the same time, the illness is revealed to come from deep under the South Pole in a place called “Asylum”.[1] This leads people to explore this new land to discover a cure for the illness or find what treasure this new land holds.[1]
The manga follows a boy who is immune to the disease and a trader living in Antarctica who journey into Asylum.[1] The anime will be set between the manga and video game storylines.[1] At the time of the video games story, 540 million people are in comas from Randolph syndrome, and the game follows the sole survivor of a massacre that took place at a medical facility.[1]
