DMC World DJ Championships is an annual DJ competition hosted by Disco Mix Club (DMC) which began in 1985.[1]
Championships were sponsored internationally by Technics, but in 2010 Technics has been replaced by Serato and Rane.[2] From 2011, the vinyl emulation software Serato Scratch Live can be used during the competition in addition to traditional vinyl.[2][3]
From 2020 - 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic the DMC World DJ Championship were held exclusively online.
For 2023 the DMC World DJ Championships returned to live competition globally.
