Court Bauer is an American TV executive producer best known as the founder of Major League Wrestling and as a former member of the WWE creative team.[1]
From 2002-2004 Bauer ran Major League Wrestling (MLW) Underground,[2][3] airing on Fox Sports Digital Net Atlantic, The Sunshine Network, and on the short-lived "The Wrestling Channel" on Sky Digital channel "Friendly TV".[4][5][6][7]. MLW shut down in early 2004. There were talks at the time of MLW possibly expanding outside of Florida.[8]
In 2004, Bauer started a new wrestling promotion called H2Wrestling, headed by himself and Teddy Hart. It was shut down before producing a show.[9]
From 2005 to 2007, Bauer worked for World Wrestling Entertainment on the WWE writing team for the SmackDown brand under head writer Michael Hayes.[10][11]
In February 2011, Bauer started production on the reality TV series "Frank Shamrock: UNGLOVED".[12] Ungloved was not picked up by a network.
During a November 2011 interview with Mr. St. Laurent, Bauer announced plans for rebooting MLW.com.[3]
