Chuck Chicken (Kung Fu Chicken in China) is an animated television series created by Animasia Studio. The story takes place on a bird-filled island of Rocky Perch, which tells a story of Chuck who turns into ‘Kung Fu Chicken’, providing Kung Fu style security and protection to the citizens of the island. When Chuck inherits a very special amulet in the shape of a golden egg with amazing powers, he uses it to defeat evil to protect the island.
The show has 52 episodes and is in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, and Thai. Originally 52 episodes were released in 2010 with 11 minutes each for Season 1. Season 2 is currently in development. It was made possible by the funding provided by the Malaysian Government under the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia, and it took Animasia Studio approximately 18 months for production by 100 Malaysian creative talents.[2] Netflix has also picked up the show and is now playing worldwide [3]

Chuck is able to transform into 12 super powers using the magic egg
- Rhino Punch — Makes Chuck’s fists solid as steel.
- Spinning Mole — Enables him to spin rapidly whilst tunnelling underground, literality turning him into a digging machine.
- Spider Feet — Gives Chuck the ability to stick to walls.
- Leaping Toadfish — This power gives Chuck fish scales, webbed feet, and the ability to breath underwater.
- Smokey Skunk — Allows Chuck to release a stinky smog attack that give him the chance to escape from unwanted or dangerous battle.
- Armadillo Shield — Transforms his feather into Armadillo-like armour.
- Invisible Chameleon — Helps Chuck to actually blend into his surroundings.
- Sonar Bat — Chuck can grow huge supersensitive bat ears that can hear sounds over great distance.
- Miniscule Rat — Turns Chuck into a tiny rat which allows him to enter and travel through tiny holes.
- Eagle Eyes — Lets Chuck zoom in distant objects.
- Speeding Cheetah — Gives Chuck the ability to run super-fast, and catlike reflexes.
- Rubber Snake — Gives Chuck rubber-like powers, so that he can bend, squash and stretch into all sorts of different shapes.
Collaboration
Animasia Studio have also collaborated with Sasbadi Holdings Berhad to produce Chuck Chicken Books and Games for sale and distribution worldwide.[4] In addition, the books such as Colouring Books and Comic Books will have Augmented Reality (AR) Technology embedded inside. [5]
