Cherami Leigh Kuehn (born July 19, 1988, in Dallas, Texas) is an American actress who has provided voices for a number of English-language versions of Japanese anime series and video games with Funimation, Studiopolis, and Bang Zoom! Entertainment. Some of her major roles include: Sae Kashiwagi in Peach Girl, Cecily Campbell in The Sacred Blacksmith, Tamaki Kawazoe in Bamboo Blade, Patty Thompson in Soul Eater, Lucy Heartfilia in Fairy Tail and Asuna Yuuki in Sword Art Online, [3]
On screen, she played a young LeAnn Rimes in the television special Holiday in Your Heart, Kim in Fast Food Nation, Robyn Goode in Throwing Stones. In 2014, she had a lead role in Shane Dawson's movie Not Cool, which he developed for the reality competition television series The Chair.[4]
Biography
Leigh began acting at the age of six and studied theater at Collin College in Plano, Texas [5].
As a child she played Gretchen in Finding North, Marcia in Temple Grandin, Young LeAnn Rimes in Holiday in Your Heart, Stacy Anderson in The President's Man and appeared on Walker, Texas Ranger multiple times.
She also has worked for Radio Disney as a DJ and also voice-over promotions and commercials for ABC Radio for 10 years.[6]
Leigh stars as Robyn Goode in the teen horror webisode series Throwing Stones,[7] and Anne Wells in the anticipated drama Beyond the Farthest Star.[8] She is the star in the comedy film Not Cool, which is an adaptation by director Shane Dawson for the reality contest series The Chair.[4]
Personal life
Leigh married fellow actor Jon Christie on April 13, 2014, whom she had been dating since 2010.[1][2]
