Template:Spanish city Carreño is a municipality in the Autonomous Community of the Principality of Asturias, Spain. It is bordered by Corvera de Asturias on the west, Gozón on the north, the Cantabrian Sea on the north and east, and Gijón on the east and south. Its capital is Candás.
History
Almost everywhere in Asturias, of course also in Carreño, Artifacts from Neolithicum on where found. Also the Tumulus, Dolmen and Hill forts in the region shows the 100.000 year old avaluation.
