Brian Armstrong (born January 25, 1983)[2] is the chief executive of Coinbase, a cryptocurrency trading platform valued at over $1.6 billion.[3][4]
He earned a master’s degree in 2006 from Rice University and worked as a coder at Airbnb.[5]
Armstrong was on the 2019 Time 100 Next List[6] and on Fortune's 40 under 40 list in 2020.[7]
In 2018 he signed The Giving Pledge.[8][9]
